Positive Change K9 Training was founded in 2025 by Jason Jung with a straightforward goal: to keep more dogs out of shelters and in loving homes, where they belong.
After witnessing too many dogs being surrendered due to behaviors that could have been prevented or corrected, Jason set out to make a difference. By helping owners understand their dogs and communicate more clearly, we reduce frustration, prevent problem behaviors, and build lasting harmony between dogs and their families.

I’m Jason Jung, founder of Positive Change K9 Training. Before becoming a full-time dog trainer, I worked as a mechanical engineer in a highly technical field. However, after learning about the number of dogs surrendered or euthanized due to behavioral issues, I decided to dedicate my life to alleviating the pain that misunderstood dogs can cause in their homes and communities.
I realized most dogs aren’t “bad.” With the right training, structure, and clear communication, almost any dog can learn to live calmly and happily with their family. My mission is to help owners build that understanding, reduce stress, and keep more dogs in their forever homes — where they truly belong.
